Great resort but room for improvement

The interconnecting rooms were great and the beds comfy. Only issue with accommodation was the proximity to the piazza where the evening shows never finished before 11.30 and neither the agent nor Forte Village warn you about the noise which is loud and stops you from sleeping. Very annoying. The food is also a touch on the expensive side but the real frustration is that unless you book immediately for the different restaurants on arrival you won't get in. No one warns you in advance. It would be great if the Fish Market restaurant which does lovely sea food was also open in the evening. It is also frustrating when you order food that some of the main course comes before the starters and in all the restaurants it is mpossible to have starters then mains. The staff are incapable of delivering the French fries at the same time as the main course! The sports academies are also very expensive and they charge per person rather than just paying for a coach for an hour so they are really not value for money and are a rip off. For example, a hours boxing coaching is E150 per person so 450 euros for 3 people even though the coach is still doing exactly the same as they would do if it was only one person. That said the coaches are great and the facilities excellent. Last gripe are the sun beds on the beach. No one tells you that you need to reserve them and unless you do so on arrival then you may not get any. Frustratingly there are many that have been reserved but are not used a lot of the time as those reserving them are elsewhere in the resort by a pool. There must be better ways of dealing with these or just not having a restrictive reservations system. Generally if management told you about these sorts of issues on arrival then detrimental effects could be mitigated as staff and holiday agents must know about these issues but just can't be bothered to let you know......

Perfect place for a family holiday

The rooms were well set out with a separate little room and bathroom for the children. Beach was beautiful and the facilities were probably the best we have ever seen for childrens activities. Food was incredible - a couple of things were ridiculously expensive - 45 euros for a bike per day?? 550 euros for the Barbie academy? But generally we loved it there, and will definitely be returning.
