Good apartment in a good location

We mainly have only really good things to say about this apartment, we really enjoyed it. Beds were good and air conditioning worked really well. A few areas for improvement: hot water can get too hot too suddenly with a tiny move of the handle and it can burn the skin. One of the showers can spray water onto the floor and that can be dangerous with slippery floors. It would be good to have more towels or clean towels more frequently. The washing machine was a bit old / slow. Invest in a knife sharpener - some of the peeling utensils were so dull they just didn't work. An ice making machine would be amazing as we needed ice all the time for water bottles for all the sports. WiFi didn't always work so well. Otherwise great.

Nice place but some disappointments

The apartment was spacious and well equipped however it felt 'cheap' on the basics - no provision of washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, half a loo roll, 3 sheets of kitchen roll. That's not what I expect in a rental of this quality. The quality of the bathroom towels was also very poor (old and thin) Unfortunately in the run up to Easter los Olivos was taken over by what felt like student 'spring break'. A group of 20+ teens playing music across the whole complex for the day, and monopolising both pools. That meant there was nowhere quiet for the residents of the other 40+ apartments to use. You couldn't even enjoy your own balcony because of the music. To me this is a risk to the owners of apartments because couples, older people, those with young children will not want to stay. The la manga resort office were responsive and helpful. The gym and tennis facilities were outstanding.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict occupancy and the level of noise in any popular resort but we would not expect loud music to be played to such an extent and will certainly include this in our report. We were pleased to hear that the managers were responsive and helpful and that, overall, you enjoyed the facilities of La Manga Club. It might be worth considering the hotel for your next trip which would probably prove quieter than the self catering apartments in high season/school holidays - or even an individual villa for that ultimate privacy.
