Our Design Holidays ‘Coronavirus Cancellation Policy’ is in place for Summer 2021 and is as follows:

For all new bookings from January 2021, if your holiday is unable to proceed purely as a result of Coronavirus restrictions* then we will offer you three options:

  1. Delay your holiday: Contact Design Holidays and we will discuss your options to see if it is possible to defer your travel dates, in some instances this might involve additional fees which you would be obliged to pay, or indeed you might qualify for a partial refund if your new selected dates are a cheaper option with our Resorts. Please rest assured there is no admin fee for this service.
  2. Change your destination: Contact us and we will discuss your options to see if it is possible to change the destination of your holiday, in some instances this might involve additional fees which you would be obliged to pay, or indeed you might qualify for a partial refund if your new destination is cheaper than your current booking.  Please rest assured there is no admin fee for this service.
  3. Cancel your holiday and receive a full refund (including deposit) once we have received back monies from your chosen Resort this has to be requested at least 21 days before your holiday is due to depart, refunds will only be processed as long as your balance has been paid in full.

If you have a change of mind due to Coronavirus fears and/or any other reason but the FCO have not specifically advised against travel to your chosen destination then we will offer you the following options:

  1. Same as option 1 above
  2. Same as option 2 above

Option to cancel: You do always have the option to cancel your holiday, cancellations are made as per the terms outlined in our terms and conditions and may incur cancellation charges, however, we do pride ourselves on our customer service and every client is valuable to us, we will always look at each booking individually and if we can recover any costs from our Resorts then we will do our very best to pass this back to our clients. Please do note, if there is no Government advice against travel to your destination there remains no obligation on the part of your tour operator to provide a refund. We would also recommend you check with your travel insurance to see if your reason for cancellation is covered under your policy.
