The Hotel Botanico offers outstanding dining facilities in three a-la-carte restaurants; The Oriental for Asian style fine-dining, offering a wide variety of delicate and exotic cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. La Parrilla serving exquisite Spanish and regional delights, with an excellent selection of local and Spanish wines and Il Pappagallo using only the freshest ingredients for its classical Italian/Mediterranean specialties. In Summer Il Pappagallo serves its delightful dishes outside on the pool terrace in the heart of the Hotel's tropical gardens. All three restaurants have received awards from the gastronomic magazine Ambiance. Light lunches for everyone's taste in a relaxing and informal atmosphere, are served in the open-air restaurant La Palmera Real. Throughout the day coffee, tea and refreshments with the best pastries and sandwiches are served in the Lobby Bar; a sophisticated setting with views of the Hotel's exotic gardens. The 24-hours Room Service menu offers a wide range of carefully selected dishes for any time of the day. An exclusive breakfast buffet is served daily on the terrace near the main swimming-pool.

Leisure

The Hotel Botanico offers superb leisure facilities : two flood-lit artificial grass tennis courts, an 18 holes golf practice course with bunker and driving range and special green fee arrangements with several golf courses nearby. During the Summer months an entertaining and educational children's program 'Botanico Academy 'is organised for all children between 4-12 years of age, in co-operation with the famous animal theme park Loro Parque. The Hotel Botanico also offers three heated swimming-pools and a separate pool for small children. Two of the swimming-pools (one indoors) are part of the thermal circuit in The Oriental Spa Garden. Free use of the Spa's thermal circuit and cardiovascular fitness room with free weights, is included in all room rates for guests as of 16 years of age. Palmera Real - 1200-1600 Hrs

The open-air restaurant La Palmera Real is located in the heart of the Hotels tropical gardens near the main swimming-pool. In an informal and relaxing atmosphere, light lunches are served for everyone's taste. Try a tasteful sandwich, soup or salad, nutritious pasta or paella or one of the delicious fish or meat dishes.

The Oriental - 1830-2300 Hrs

Asian style fine-dining, offering a wide range of mouth-watering authentic Oriental dishes-the menu varies on a regular basis and offers delicate and delightful Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The Oriental offers outstanding service in an elegant atmosphere and is the ideal place for any occasion.

La Parilla - 1830-2300 Hrs

La Parilla offers exquisite Spanish and regional delights in an informal atmosphere and has an excellent wine list, featuring the finest Canarian wines. A special Canarian evening including traditional food and music is organised on a weekly basis.

Il Pappagallo - 1830-2300 Hrs

Classic Italian/ Mediterranean Cuisine using only the freshest ingredients in a bright and informal atmosphere. In Summer Il Pappagallo serves its delightful dishes in the open-air on the spectacular pool-terrace amidst lush tropical vegetation.

All rooms at the Hotel Botanico are equipped with the following standard facilities- a private furnished balcony with two chairs and a coffee table.

Rooms and suites on the Penthouse floor -5th floor- have a larger terrace which is additionally equipped with sun loungers, a parasol and dining facilities.

All rooms have armchairs and a writing desk with direct dial telephone and voice mail/ individually controlled air conditioning / heating mini-bar satellite TV with remote control pay TV and an in-room safe.

All bathrooms are fully renovated with Italian marble and include a bidet double wash basins bathrobes slippers and a hair dryer.

Ambassador Junior Suites

Double or twin beds - 58sqm- including private balcony -10sqm-. Junior suites have ocean or garden view and have a spacious and comfortable sleeping and sitting area. The large and luxurious bathrooms include a dressing area and separate bath and shower facilities. Ambassador Junior suites have comfortable sleeping facilities for a third person and they are equipped with a trouser press and are decorated with Thai silk.

Non-smoking and inter-connecting rooms on request. Ambassador Junior suites can be inter-connected with another Ambassador junior suite -subject to availability-.

Penthouse Suites

Double or twin beds -173sqm/200 sqm- including private terrace -70sqm/100 sqm-. Located on the top floor with garden and mountain View. Penthouse suites have a spacious salon with sitting and dining area and one or two separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Two of the Penthouse suites have a private whirlpool on the terrace. All Penthouse suites are equipped with a trouser press and they feature original art and are decorated with Thai silk. The Penthouse suites can be inter-connected with penthouse rooms -subject to availability-.

Botanico Suite

Double or twin beds - 420sqm-, two or three bedrooms, including private terrace -160sqm- surrounding the suite. This highly exclusive suite is located on the top floor with spectacular views of the Atlantic and of the mountains. Each bedroom has its own spacious and luxurious bathroom and dressing room. The Suite has a private entrance hall with separate toilet, a spacious salon, a private dining room for 12 people, a kitchen and a large private indoors whirlpool with direct terrace access. The suite has some unique safety features and it has its own air condition/heating system. All sections of the Suite are superbly decorated with rich fabrics such as Thai silk and rugs from the Royal factories in Madrid. The suite features original pieces of art and carefully selected pieces of antique furniture.
