Bahia del Duque Hotel Rooms

The Bahia del Duque hotel rooms have been decorated in a style that is equally barroque and simple with Moroccan influences, with the light and freshness provided by their ochre and sienna-coloured tones. The Bahia del Duque also pays attention to comfort and the requirements of our clients so that they may feel as if they were at home.

Distributed throughout the different buildings that faithfully reflect Canary Island architecture from the beginning of the XX century, with an original synthesis of Victorian and Venetian influences, the suites, each named after a flower, have been decorated with the utmost care, paying attention to the smallest details concerning decoration, equipment and comfort.

Room service is offered 24 hours a day and you may order any dish from any of the Hotel's thematic restaurants.

Bahia del duque Resort Beach

The Bahía del Duque Resort is located on the shoreline, washed by a 900 meter-long sandy beach. From the shore, the outline of La Gomera Island can be made out in the distance. The beach is provided with deckchairs, sunshades, changing huts and showers, as well as with El Chiringuito, a kiosk situated on the sand that offers drinks and snacks. Different water sports are available. Shops and restaurants, such as Café la Bahía and the Latin Restaurant "La Hacienda" are located on the promenade.

Swimming pools

Just outside the entrance area you will find the beginning of the lake that if formed by five swimming pools that are connected by waterfalls. The first one is a heated fresh water pool, the other four are salt-water pools, one of which includes a jacuzzi among the volcanic rocks from which it is made. Bars and restaurants surround the swimming pools.

Fauna and Flora

The Bahía del Duque Resort has 56,000 m2 of exuberant tropical and sub-tropical vegetation, which has created a particular microclimate, with all kinds of palm trees, dragon trees, laurel trees, rubber plants, flamboyan trees, jacarandas, fruit trees, cacti and different European plants.

Since 1993, our team of gardeners has been working to transform what began as a garden into a Park. Today the number of trees and plants, as well as the many paths built throughout the estate allow us to offer and recommend our guests to enjoy this new complement to their stay, our "BOTANICAL ROUTE".

Children at Bahia del Duque

The Mini Club Schedule is:
From 10:00 h until 13:00 h and from 14:00 h until 18:00 h.

Every week there is a different programme offered during the day, with all different kinds of activities in the morning eg : painting, hand crafting, treasure hunt, or going for a “botanical” walk through the park of the Hotel which usually ends at the kid’s playground, as well as a Mini- Disco in the child pool around noon.

In the afternoon: children’s shows in front of the El Bernegal Restaurant like magic shows, clowns etc.

At night there is also a mini-disco in the Pyramid from 20:30 h until approx. 21:00 h (sometimes with a special theme, meaning the children all meet at the Mini- Club to disguise themselves).

The parents are very welcomed to join the children at the disco.

The Mini- Club is for children between 3-12 years. If the children are younger than 3 years, they have to be accompanied by an adult (parents, nanny).

The baby sitting rates are the following:

1 child € 12 per hour
2 or more children € 21 per hour

Bahia del Duque Clubhouse

The Bahía del Duque Resort has a splendid Customer Service Department offered through the Club House.

This is a continuous service from 08:00 hrs. in the morning until 22:00 hrs. at night.

Located in the hall of the hotel, it is a space surrounded with a decoration that induces peace and tranquility so that you may present or enquire about any doubt sitting in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Treatment is individual and personal, as well as friendly. One aspect of the philosophy of the Club House can be appreciated at dusk, when candles are lit on tables to provide a warmer atmosphere. The objective of the Club House is to satisfy your wishes and requirements by offering you the following services:
