Clients to Encosta do Lago are accomodated in one of their stunning 2 or 3 bed apartments or one of the private villas. Daily maid and laundry services allow you the freedom of being in a fully fitted apartment or villa to relax, wine and dine, knowing that all the chores have been done without you having to lift a finger!

The fully fitted kitchens with the latest appliances and utensils means for those wishing to "dine at home" one can select from the local fish markets a fabulous range of fresh fish from Dourada to Sardines, Spider Crab to Lobster.

Quinta do Lago Beach Life

If the perfect day consists of relaxing on an open golden sandy beach, with the sea constantly beckoning you to take a dip, broken only by lunch where you can dine at Gigi's, famous for its lunchtime seafood menu, chilled wines and opera melodies then Encosta do Lago provides you with the perfect location. A beautiful 10 min walk around the lake brings you to the Quinta beach (a free parking pass is also provided). Separating Encosta do Lago from the beach itself is a thin strip of sand dunes and water inlets known as the Ria Formosa, the natural habitat for wild Flamingoes and other species of wildlife.

Quinta do Lago Golf

Guests at Encosta do Lago are able to pre-book at any of the 26 - 18 hole courses found on the Algarve. Special Agreements mean you can pre-book at Quinta do Lago's North and South courses and Vilamoura's Victoria (venue for the 2005 World Cup), Millenium, Old Course, Pinhal and Laguna at significantly reduced rates. Tee off times can be arranged as part of your accomodation booking, meaning you can have your golf itenerary planned in advance.

Set amidst green pine trees in the south-west corner of Quinta do Lago, not far from the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, Encosta do Lago offers a range of deluxe, spacious apartments in a tranquil and relaxing position. Sitting on a gentle hillside, there are wonderful views of the lake, the sea and over the hills to the market town of Loule in the distance and the resort commands an ideal location, only approximately 5 minutes to the watersports centre and within walking distance of the beach.

All Encosta do Lago accommodation is individually owned and stylishly furnished to each owner's taste, the spacious, luxury apartments are all extremely well equipped and fully air-conditioned. Those on the first and second floor offer fabulous views of either the Quinta do Lago lake, the Ria Formosa and the sea or the landscaped gardens of Encosta do Lago from their large balconies, whilst ground floor apartments have a generous garden in which some also have a private pool, for which heating in the cooler months is included. A welcome food pack is complemented by a range of bathroom and toiletry items supplied by Molton Brown, and all bedrooms benefit from their own en-suite bathroom. Each apartment also has a social cloakroom. Fully fitted kitchens feature oven & hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer, whilst living rooms feature Cable TV with DVD and stereo system as well as log-burning fireplace.
