Martinhal Resort Algarve

Like most good things in life , they have to be seen to be believed.

Following her recent site inspection to our Martinhal Beach Resort in the Algarve , Sue Hildreth our Sales Manager was so impressed that she has allowed us her 1st blog entry this year.  The 1st of many more we hope, as she has an endless list of our luxury resorts to visit in the next few weeks  🙂

‘I loved the Martinhal, this fabulous resort stands in a nature reserve and is right on the beach. I was lucky enough to stay in an Ocean view house, I spent the early evenings relaxing on the large balcony, enjoying the
most amazing views, sunsets, and delicious local wine, and the mornings watching the sunrise, eating  the most amazing chocolate muffins that are freshly baked by the pastry chef. Both of which can be bought from the Martinhal mini market on the resort. The great thing about staying in a village house is that there is a fully fitted kitchen, with a large fridge suitable for holding not only all the kiddies snacks, but also several bottles of wine! There is also a washer/dryer, so no need to pack several changes of clothes per day like I did. The weather was glorious, 29-30 degrees every day. Two of the days were windy, but still hot and I spent these days lounging on a’ Fat Boy’ (For those of you not in the know, that’s not my husband! It’s a fantastic large outdoor bean bag, great for adults and young kids alike) around the pool at the village square where there are several  sheltered areas. The Martinhal pool also offers a snack bar and half the pool is indoors, giving shelter to very young ones in the mid day sun, there is also a sauna and steam room, which I had to try out in the interest of clients of course.  The Martinhal is such a wonderful resort for families, there is the ‘Club 98’ pool where there are many activities offered daily for 11-18 year old, the younger ones are catered for in the kids club in the village square. The Martinhal beach is great for gentle evening strolls, or an energetic run, and building sandcastles. There are trampolines located by the As Dunas restaurant, so you can watch the young ones have fun while you enjoy your meal.  All in all I had a great time and would not hesitate to go back for another visit in the interest of checking it out for our clients!
