Golf Academy at Aphrodite Hills

The Golf Academy at Aphrodite Hills features first class practice facilities including a large double-ended driving range with targets and distance markers. The short game facilities include pitching and chipping greens with bunkers and a generously sized putting green. The Academy also has a challenging 3-hole course, consisting of two par 4's and a par 3.

The Aphrodite Hills Golf Academy offers a wide range of programmes for golfers of all ages and abilities, under the expert tutelage of our experienced PGA-qualified Golf Professionals, Andrew Darker and Giles Johnson. They have extensive experience and expertise, along with access to the latest training technology.

Golf lessons are available in the English and German languages.

Aphrodite Hills Spa Retreat

Located in the heart of the Aphrodite Hills resort, The Spa Retreat offers a haven of calm, serenity and tranquility offering an indulgent and blissful respite to ease away the strains of everyday life.

The Spa Retreat provides a unique treatment environment, with its serene monastic design and a variety of therapy areas. With a total of 24 spacious rooms many with sea views, the options include couple rooms to private balconies to specialized hydrotherapy, spa manicure and pedicure rooms, Thai rooms and garden massage pavilions.

With an expert team dedicated to providing an unforgettable spa experience, this is a special place designed to clear the mind, soothe the body and indulge the spirit.

The Retreat also boasts stunning elevated pools overlooking the Mediterranean as well as fragrant gardens with dancing fountains –everywhere there are personal havens, views, scents and textures to delight the senses.

The Retreat is working exclusively with Pevonia and is their first flagship European Spa, providing an array of specialized treatments from rejuvenating skincare including facial and body treatments, as well as massage and aromatherapy. Pevonia Botanica skincare products contain the most effective natural source ingredients, delivering remarkable, highly visible results to keep skin looking radiant.

At the heart of The Retreat is the Thermae. The word Thermae is derived from the ancient Greek word for heat and by 315 AD, Roman life revolved around this daily bathing ritual which involved a series of rooms and pools progressively increasing in temperature tempered with cooling plunge pools and showers. The heart of the Spa, the Thermae, is true to the classical and historical heritage of Greco-Roman bathing rituals of cleansing and relaxation. At The Retreat, the Thermae is constructed around a colonnaded central courtyard on the Lower Level, leading to an open area and this peaceful haven has gently running water throughout.

Day passes, special group rates, pre-booked single treatments and half/full day packages are all available at The Retreat. Guests can also partake in bathing rituals, sport and spa combinations and long stay packages of between five and seven days.

The Retreat's operating hours in the summer are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with treatments taking place only from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Operating hours in the winter are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with treatments taking place only from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tours at The Retreat are by appointment only and can be conducted from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Tennis programme is diverse in its offering and satisfies players of all levels. Private coaching sessions with professional instructors on everything from stroke correction with video analysis to general play, and tennis packages are available tailored to each player’s abilities. What’s more, the Tennis Academy works alongside The Retreat Spa, prestigiously recognized as the “Best European Spa 2008” at the Professional Beauty Awards, to offer a comprehensive fitness and wellness experience.

Also available are a full racquet fitting, re-stringing and sales service as well as general equipment and clothing sales and advice. Tennis racquets are available for hire for general play and all equipment is provided for academy sessions.

The beautiful Village Square is the focal point of daily life at Aphrodite Hills and a charming rendezvous for owners and visitors alike. Designed to reflect the unhurried atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot village and built from locally quarried stone, it stands at the heart of the resort overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The Village Square has a real community ambience with a great choice of shops and restaurants, a wedding chapel and open spaces that invite you to relax and watch the world go by in true Mediterranean style.

The Village Square offers a great selection of over 14 restaurants and bars.
