Design Holidays have vast experience in Leisure and corporate travel. Since our incorporation in 1994 we are widely regarded as one of the UK's leading travel organisations, especially to our main resort - La Manga Club in South East Spain.

As a long-established member of the Travel Trust Association, you can book with us in complete confidence ! Bookings can be taken by credit card either online or via telephone. Travel Industry Warning for 2008 'Never book with any company that does not allow you to pay via credit card'.

Design Holidays are also an ATOL holder (number T7183) and are fully compliant with the ATOL / CAA rules and regulations listed below.

When flights are booked our ATOL number or trading partners ATOL number will appear on any invoices and receipts issued by our company, for all travel requirements appropriate to this section.

ATOL - which is short for "Air Travel Organisers' Licensing" - exists to protect the public from losing money or being stranded abroad because of the failure of air travel firms. It was first introduced in 1972 and it gives comprehensive consumer protection to 28 million people in the UK who buy flights or air holidays each year.

Design with the environment in mind

Over the years the staff and board of directors of the Design Group of companies have become ever increasingly worried about the eco friendliness of companies like ours in today's modern world.

Where possible we are making every effort to re use in all of our offices both in UK and La Manga Club, Spain all paper supplies, in order to reduce our eco wastage along with all print cartridges. All 'out dated technology' including computers / mobile phones are recycled to third world countries. Alone in 2007 our Design Home Management division were pleased to donate over 18,000 expired laundry items to a local charity in Murcia near our La Manga Club office.

What can you do to help ?

Annually Design Group of companies print over 150,000 brochures / envelopes and in an effort to reduce this effect on the environment, we are asking all clients who have internet access where possible not to request a brochure. Should the information that you wish not be on our website please contact us and we will endeavour to send you specific information via email. Each day our offices receive over 250 faxes, whilst this amount has reduced with email we would like you to help us lower this even further by using email as your chosen method of communication. When on holiday we would also ask that our clients respect each resorts housekeeping department policies and only request clean towels when absolutely necessary.

Design Holidays are pleased to announce a fantastic year for David Lloyd Raynes Park men's tennis team in 2007. 'Having extended our existing sponsorship agreement from 2001, we have seen a fantastic improvement from regional underachievers to last seasons semi finalists, says Johnny Barr Director of Design Holidays, player and team captain. At the Kia National Tennis Team finals in September they were ousted in a marathon semi final by East Gloucester the champions in both 2006 and 2007, who also feature current UK number 3 Richard Bloomfield. Each year we add to our squad bringing in world class tennis talent such as ex Wimbledon players Luke Milligan, Marten Renstrom, Colin Beecher and ex national junior champion Tom Burn. 2008 is no exception with the same squad being strengthened with the inclusion of top British junior Alex Bull , Scottish International David Brewer, current tour players Tim Patient , Jamie Feaver , James Lloyd along with top national player Michael Ouvarov. Last year's Wimbledon doubles specialist Neil Bamford and ex Swedish Tour Player Marten Renstrom are also in our strong squad for 2008. Design Holidays are proud to extend our sponsorship of this fine young talented tennis team again for 2008 / 2009 season.

The Design group of companies are pleased to announce their sponsorship of a Bavaria 36 racing yacht named "Cygnus" in all the regattas of the Mar Menor / La Manga and Mediterranean coast of Murcia for 2008.

Cygnus will also race in all Alicante regattas, and the world famous Cartagena - Ibiza !
